In conjunction with the rebranding of the East Hudson Youth Soccer League becoming the Hudson Valley Youth Soccer League, hundreds of inventoried tournament shirts became obsolete. Rather than seeing those shirts end up in a landfill, or shipped overseas, a quick social media post seeking interested charities uncovered Quacks Warriors working with the Albany Capital City Rescue Mission to serve homeless, needy and underserved people in the Capital Region. Quacks Warriors made several trips from Albany down to Saugerties NY where HVYSL staff staged the shirts brought up in batches from the league headquarters in Hopewell Junction. Quacks Warriors are distributing the shirts to needy people at the mission, and elsewhere in the Albany area.
