About the Inter League Alliance
The Inter League Alliance is a collaborative youth soccer competition created to bring
together established leagues across Eastern New York into a shared platform for interleague play.
Formed through cooperation among league leadership, the Inter League Alliance allows
clubs to compete against teams from neighboring leagues while maintaining each league’s
individual identity, structure, and governance.
Participating Leagues
The Inter League Alliance currently includes:
• Cosmopolitan Junior Soccer League (CJSL)
• Hudson Valley Youth Soccer League (HVYSL)
• Long Island Junior Soccer League (LIJSL)
• Westchester Youth Soccer League (WYSL)
The Inter League Alliance is open to future expansion, welcoming additional leagues that
share a commitment to collaboration and consistent standards of play.
Pilot Program & Vision
The Inter League Alliance is launching as a pilot program for a limited number of boys
U12 teams, with the goal of evaluating structure, competition balance, and overall
experience.
Based on the success of the pilot, the long-term vision includes:
• Expansion into additional age groups
• Introduction of girls inter-league competition
• Continued collaboration among participating leagues
The Inter League Alliance represents a shared commitment to strengthening youth soccer
through cooperation, competitive opportunities, and player-focused development
